Hostess Ilse has been living with her family for many years in the renovated farmhouse in De Woestijn in Roosdaal.
In 2016 they decided together to make an old dream come true together and transformed the barn into a B&B to make it a home for the guests. Recently, De Woestijn can be rented as a whole and becomes a unique holiday home for up to 10 guests.
To establish a project like De Woestijn, it took a lot of work, but done with an eye for beauty and detail, it finally pays off and we would be proud to share the result with you.
De Woestijn is gelegen te midden van de glooiende valleien van het Pajottenland, in Roosdaal op de grens met Gooik, slechts op een 20tal km van het centrum van Brussel.

We nodigen je graag uit om dit unieke paradijselijk stukje natuur te ontdekken en met ons tot rust te komen.
De B&B bevindt zich in de voormalige gerenoveerde schuur van de boerderij, naast de familiewoning.
Of je hier nu alleen bent, of met je gezin of vrienden, je kan hier tijdens het verblijf volop genieten van het comfort en de charme die deze warme omgeving uitstraalt.
The guesthouse has 3 beautiful rooms, which have been renovated while preserving their authenticity and with an eye for details, finishing and materials.
The room on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. An extra advantage.

In the morning you can wake up at the breakfast table and taste the many homemade delicacies from the region. The local companies we like to work with all provide us with products to unpack with : they all work with an outspoken passion for their work and for the Pajottenland brand. And you can taste that.

You can stroll to the vegetable garden and the fruit trees, where cows and chickens are waiting for you. Wat denk je van een zwempartijtje in het nieuwe (verwarmde) buitenzwembad ?
As a keen cyclist, you can indulge yourself on the cycling junction network. It is also the ideal starting point for beautiful walks through the breathtaking landscapes.

Large communal areas with reading corner and sitting area invite you to have a pleasant chat after a trip, bike ride or walk.

Renting bicycles is possible and we would like to hear about it at the time of booking.

Are you allergic to certain foods? Please let us know in advance, and we will certainly take this into account.
There is free WIFI and parking.

DELICIOUS BREAKFAST
There is an extensive breakfast from which you can choose: various types of freshly baked bread and pastries; different types of cheese and meat; butter and yoghurt straight from the farmer and from the region. Freshly squeezed fruit juice or from the apple farmer, coffee and tea. An egg from our own chickens upon request. And finally our homemade granola and jams! Supplemented with goodies from the region such as honey, elderberry syrup and jam from ambassadors from the Pajottenland.
