Category 1 (creating an account) The data we keep below is personal data, namely your first name, surname, password, email address, telephone number, address details (street, house number, bus number, postcode, municipality, country), date of birth, gender, your interests (in terms of holiday accommodation, activities and facilities), date of creation, date of last modification, last login date, active language when creating a profile and managing an account on the Website. Your booking history is kept in the account.
Category 2 (gift voucher purchase) Your purchase amount, first name, surname, street, house number, postcode, town, country, telephone number, email address, any billing details when purchasing the gift voucher on the Website.
Category 3 (booking a package) Your first name, surname, email address, street, house number, postcode, town, country, telephone number, gender, date of birth (and possibly also data from category 2) when booking a package on the Website.
Category 4 (booking accommodation) Your email address, arrival and departure dates, first name, surname, number of people, telephone number, message when booking via the website.
Category 5 (contact request for accommodation) Your email address, reason, first name, surname, telephone number, message (possibly also data from category 2 if you choose to create an account) when making a contact request on the Website.
Category 6 (reviews) Your message, email address, first name, surname, score on location, score on hygiene, score on welcome, score on comfort, score on food, travel group when posting a review on the Website.
Category 7 (dynamic forms). Your first name, surname, email address, street, house number, postcode, town, any answers to competition questions, any answers to tiebreaker questions when filling in a dynamic form (e.g. competition form).
Category 8 (IP address) Your IP address, used by the hosting company to guarantee security and availability.
Category 9 (spam control) Your IP address, user agent, request URL and referrer for spam control. This data is not stored after the request, only the result of whether or not it is spam.
Category 10 (visual material) We may use visual material from the security camera at the front door of our accommodation.
Category 11 (personal data of others) We use personal data of others provided by you, for example, of the people listed on your booking. If you provide personal data of others, you must ensure that they agree to this and allow you to provide this information. You must also ensure that they know how their personal data may be used by us, where applicable.
Category 12 The data we keep below is not personal data. We keep track of:
How many times a particular term is searched for on the search results page (but not by whom or when).
How often a filter in the facet navigation is clicked (but not who clicks on it or when).
Search queries are forwarded to the booking module, but the personal data of the person performing the search is not. With the exception of the search parameters that this person has entered manually.
For users who are not logged in, a session cookie is set that tracks whether or not the visitor is logged in. This session cookie also tracks which search parameters the visitor has searched for, but only so that they can return to the previous page via ‘Back to overview’. Favorites for a non-logged-in user are also stored in this cookie. This session cookie remains valid only during the visitor's browser session – until it expires – and is not stored permanently anywhere.
A cookie is set to track whether or not the user has clicked away the slide-out at the bottom of the page. This is to ensure that it does not continue to appear after it has been clicked away.
