Grote krans

Den Ast is een nieuwe vakantiewoning voor vier personen, gelegen in een voormalig stalgebouw dat dienst deed als droogzolder.

De Woestijn is a real must for epicureans to spend your holidays. Here you can stay, surrounded by greenery and with a magnificent view of the rolling valleys of the Pajottenland in the hamlet of "Woestijn".

As a holiday home, you can use the entire house with kitchen, so you can also have a wonderful stay here with family and friends. There are no other guests in the accommodation. The 3 B&B rooms are part of the holiday home. With 3 bedrooms, this renovated old "barn" is ideally suited for up to 10 people.

Woestijn has a striking appearance thanks to its authentic local brick walls and the austere look of its large windows. This renovated barn still contains many old elements, such as the trusses and the old beam structure, which adds to its charm.

It is a cosy home with 3 spacious and beautifully decorated rooms in which we offer a unique combination of personal hospitality with every comfort. Privacy and comfort are assured, being together with your family and friends gives you a real holiday feeling.

We are naturally warm-hearted family people and choose to let families enjoy our home. Do you have very rambunctious children in the house who like to stir things up? Then in that case, another holiday location is also a better choice.

Room Lotus is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible; the other rooms Cassis and Myrtille are on the first floor. Each room has its own bathroom with washbasin, toilet, walk-in shower. The rooms in the holiday cottage are the same as those in the B&B.

Soft towels are provided (1 small and 1 large towel per person), along with lovely luxury toiletries (Likami shower gel and shampoo) and a bath mat.

Enjoy the blissful sleeping comfort of the box-spring beds.

On arrival, you will also find the beds made up with smoothed fresh linen so your holiday can start from the very first moment.

A cosy kitchen with large island invites you to cook together and enjoy a delicious meal in the dining area nearby. You can chat for a long time at the XL dining table or play a board game together.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer (with 3 drawers) and a coffee and tea corner with kettle, coffee machine and Nespresso machine. A packet of coffee and box of tea will be waiting for you, along with some goodies from one of the Ambassadors of the Pajottenland.

Weather permitting, open the large windows to the private terrace and have breakfast or lunch outside.  Eating outside becomes a feast in the greenery in the background. In fine weather, the barbecue is ready for you. Next to the house there is another terrace under the slate-tree pergola. Lovely for having apero.

Or you can take a blissful dip in the new heated swimming pool. This is located in the back garden and is shared with the owner's family. Its use depends on the weather and the season. Privacy and tranquillity are always guaranteed and appreciated by us. No pool parties.

In the open sitting area on the first floor, you can enjoy the lovely view over the garden and the fields. This lounge area invites you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Walking guides and cycling maps as well as books of all kinds are waiting for you here.

There is a private parking for guests with space for 3-4 cars opposite the entrance on the other side of the street.

Bikes you bring with you can find a place in the bike shed where electric bikes can be charged. A washing machine (and dryer) can be used by prior arrangement.
