COVID-19 GUIDELINES (update 08/06/2021)(new measures valid from 09/06/21-30/06/21)

B&B and holiday home De Woestijn was completely cleaned and disinfected before your arrival in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Please take note of these applicable safety measures in the accommodation and please follow the instructions.

A few things have been adjusted in our services, but we do everything we can to make your stay here as pleasant as before. We also ask for your cooperation to keep our B&B/Holiday home neat and virus-free.

Since June 8, 2021, we will again receive a family + 4 extra people (not including children up to 12 years old): 1 family + 4 people (do not have to be from the same family) per booking, for B&B and for the holiday home. It is therefore possible to go on holiday as a family with children (up to 12 years) together with, for example, 2 other families with children (up to 12 years) or with 5 separate friends.

Since we are going back to normal, gradually, reservations can be made again in the resto or bistro nearby. We are happy to help you in advance with selecting and booking a restaurant in your area. A take-away menu can only be used for the B&B by appointment.

This means that we ensure that the corona measures are respected. We do not wish to take any responsibility if the composition of your travel group does not appear to be in accordance with the guidelines on arrival or any check.

What can you do yourself?

  • Wash your hands regularly.

  • Don't shake hands

  • When sneezing or coughing, use a paper handkerchief and throw it in the trash afterwards.

  • When you get out of your room, keep 1.5 meters away from (other guests and) the manager.

  • Avoid cash payments and opt for bank transfer/bancontact/payconiq.

  • There will be no cleaning service in your room during your stay. Together we make agreements about new towels and garbage bags.

  • Ventilate your room regularly.

What can we do together in the common areas?

  • Always wash or disinfect your hands with the products that are ready for this when entering and leaving the accommodation.

  • Always wear a mouth mask, even when you move inside the B&B . It is not necessary to sit at the table.

  • Touch as little as possible on the way to and from your room.

  • There will be no self-service for drinks. If you wish to drink something, we will discuss how this can be done.

  • Avoid physical contact and always keep 1.5 meters away from others than your travel companions.

  • There will be no magazines, brochures or walking guides for viewing. You can get all tourist information from us or your own copy of a brochure or map.

What are we doing?

Due to legal requirements, our service and facilities will appear different than before. You can count on our hospitality more than ever.

We clean and disinfect the tables, keyboard on the doors, light switches, doorknobs of the common areas every day. We prepare and serve breakfast with a mouth mask. You can have breakfast at a safe distance from the other guests (inside and outside if possible). If necessary, breakfast is served at other times. There will be no shared breakfast buffet.

If we follow these guidelines together, we can certainly make it a pleasant stay. Thank you very much !
