Please take note of these applicable safety measures in the accommodation and please follow the instructions.

Some things have been adjusted in our services, but we do everything we can to make your stay here as pleasant as before.

Information obtained today from Logeren in Flanders:

New Covid measures from October 29th
Due to the rising corona figures, a number of measures have again been taken by the Consultation Committee of 26 October.
In consultation with VISITFLANDERS, you will find the available information as follows:

This measure will apply from Friday 29 October 2021

  • Staff members in the catering industry must wear a mouth mask again
Based on the currently available information, this means that I will (again) wear a mouth mask when serving guests in the breakfast room.

This measure will apply from Monday 1 November 2021

  • Mandatory application of the Covid Safe Ticket (CST) in all catering establishments.
Based on the currently available information, the Covid Safe Ticket is mandatory for all accommodations where meals and/or drinks are offered to guests, including, for example, B&Bs that only have a breakfast room.
--> Holiday homes and youth accommodations where only one group / group is staying at the same time are exempt from this."

B&B and holiday home De Woestijn was completely cleaned before your arrival in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

We also ask for your cooperation to keep our B&B/Holiday home neat and virus-free.

Restaurants, cafes and bistros in the area will also have to adhere to the new measures.

Only limited use of the kitchen will be possible for the B&B, after explicit agreement with the owners.

Tips to keep doing it yourself:

  • Wash your hands regularly.

  • don't shake hands

  • When sneezing or coughing, use a paper handkerchief and throw it in the trash afterwards.

  • Avoid cash payments and opt for bank transfer/bancontact/payconiq.

  • There will be no cleaning service in your room during your stay. We make agreements together about new towels and garbage bags.

  • Ventilate your room regularly.

What can we do together in the common areas?

  • Always wash or disinfect your hands with the products that are ready when entering and leaving the accommodation.

  • Wearing a mouth mask is again mandatory.
